Additional Important Information

We have designed a trip that is uniquely suited to Rotarians. Not only will Rotarians work hard on the Camp Hope Project, but will be exposed to the people and cuisine of rural Baja California.

There is very little tourism in the area (this a rugged part of Baja California), but over a decade of exploration while accommodating more than 5000 volunteers- it has led us to hidden gems. A trip to a local microbrewery, a vineyard, Mexican seafood, afternoon excursions to the La Lobera seal refuge and the Sodueste Volcano will leave Rotarians with an appreciation for the people, culture, food and adventure of Baja California.

The registration link is here, “REGISTER” or click the buttons that say register to be taken to the registration page.

An entry from John Steinback’s log about his journey to Baja California somehow expresses it best – “If it were lush and rich, one could understand the pull, but it is fierce and hostile and sullen. The stone mountains pile up to the sky and there is little fresh water. But we know we must go back if we live, and we don’t know why.”
